• TODAY’S PAYMENT - PLEASE NOTE: The price you pay today is a **50% downpayment** to begin work on the art. The remaining 50% is due when the art is picked up or ships.

• HOW I PRICE: Each commission takes 6-10+ hours of work (depending on complexity, size, etc), but I calculate price based on the size.

• ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR CHANGES/ADDITIONS/COMPLEX IMAGES: I want to make sure you get the image you want, and I absolutely understand adding special items, changing the time of day of a scene, etc. These changes add significant planning/painting time to your project, and are available for an extra charge.

• COMMUNICATION BEFORE PAYMENT: I accept the majority of commission requests, but please feel free to reach out to discuss details using the form above prior to downpayment to ensure your project and my skills are a good fit. I will return your downpayment if either party decides we’re not a good fit prior to start of the project, minus a 4% processing fee (to cover charges my fee processor charges).   

• COMPLETION TIMES: Please note average creation times (approx. 3 weeks for watercolors and soft pastels, 6 weeks for oil paintings). The timing often depends on the time of year and kind of project. The months leading up to Christmas are my busiest time of year, and wait times will likely be longer. Rush projects are often available for an additional fee. Oil paintings take a minimum of a couple of weeks (after completion) to be dry enough to ship in a box.
